Live Independently With the Right Support

Supported Independent Living (SIL) is designed for NDIS participants who need regular, ongoing support to live independently — whether in their own home, a family home, or a shared living arrangement. Our SIL services go beyond basic assistance; we partner with you to build the skills, confidence, and routines that foster genuine independence over time.

Our SIL support teams are carefully selected and trained to provide consistent, reliable support that respects your space, your preferences, and your autonomy. We understand that your home is your sanctuary, and our role is to support you in maintaining it on your own terms.

What SIL Includes

• 24/7 or rostered support staffing (tailored to your needs)
• Personal care and daily living assistance
• Household management (cooking, cleaning, laundry)
• Skill development and capacity building
• Health and wellbeing support
• Community access and social participation
• Behavioural support implementation (where required)
• Overnight and sleepover support options

Living Arrangements

We support a range of living arrangements to suit your preferences:

Individual Living: Support in your own home — one-on-one assistance tailored to your specific routines and goals.

Shared Living: Living with other NDIS participants in a supported household, with shared and individual support hours. A great option for building social connections and sharing costs.

We work closely with Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) providers and can assist you in finding suitable housing if you're transitioning to independent living for the first time.

NDIS Funding

SIL is funded under NDIS Core Supports — "Assistance with Daily Life." SIL funding is typically allocated as a separate line item in your NDIS plan based on an assessed support needs roster. We work with support coordinators and the NDIA to ensure appropriate funding levels.
